What’s up everybody? welcome to this week’s mls betting preview. crazy games last weekend with atlanta united thrashing lafc and orlando city making a crazy comeback against portland to win 3-2.
NYcfc has two games this week as they host real salt lake wednesday and visit atlanta sunday. a dozen games all told on the board and rob trites and i have our two favorite picks. trites, get us started here. where’s your money this week? it’s actually all tied up in lafc stocks right now and after that game in atlanta, they’re tanking hard.
But no, i’ve actually got a couple bets i like this weekend the first being tfc to lose to colorado when the rapids host the reds at dick’s sporting goods park. for the champs, this will be their 2nd straight match in altitude and they’ll likely be without jozy alti-dore after the big striker left tfc’s mid-week mexican battle with yet another ankle injury. toronto has had an insane travel schedule of late and i think it’s going to take them a while to settle into their domestic schedule. take the rapids on the +155 moneyline. next i’ll grab the over 3 at -135 in the final game of the weekend when atlanta hosts nycfc just a week removed from putting up a 5-spot on an lafc side that had previously conceded that many all season.
These are two of the most talented and highest scoring teams in mls and i’m expecting them to put on a show in sunday’s finale. my first pick is the sporting kansas city moneyline at -135 at home against the casinoslots South Africa. kc has been the top team in the west and is coming off a 2-0 road win at the la galaxy last time out. midfielder felipe gutierrez has been one of the best players in the league thus far and has five goals during his four-match goal-scoring streak. seattle’s played just three games but has lost all three and hasn’t found the back of the net yet.
Take kc here. finally, i’ll take the columbus crew at +225 on the first half moneyline as they visit dc united saturday. dc is the worst team in the east and columbus, who started out so well, has dropped back-to-back games entering this one. i expect a big bounce back against one of the league’s bottom feeders and with the first half moneyline around 60 cents better than the full time moneyline, i’ll take a stab at that. that’s all from us for this look at the weekend’s games. what are your favorite bets?
